The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission announced the schedule to conduct elections to gram panchayats in four phases beginning 05th February, 2021 after the High court verdict. The notification for the Election will be released on 23rd January, 2021. State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, announced the schedule hours after his meeting with Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das and other top officials.

The notification for the first phase of gram Panchayat Elections will be issued on 23rd January, 2021 and polling held on 05th February, 2021
For the second phase, the notification will be issued on 27th January, 2021 and polling on 09th February, 2021.
The third phase polling is scheduled for 13th February,2021 for which the notification will be issued on 31st January, 2021.
The final phase polling will be held on 17th February,2021 and the notification will be issued on the 4th February, 2021.
according to the SECs schedule. Ramesh Kumar said the model code of conduct would come into force from January 9 in accordance with the judgment of the Supreme Court.
